Here at The Mattress Place, a Cincinnati-owned sleep shop run by Cincinnati natives Jack Sikora, Bill Hemmer, and Paul Wienkamp, we happen to agree with the Romans, who were widely credited with discovering the first luxury bed and the first waterbed. Your bed should be your castle of peace. It should be one of your favorite spots in your entire house, a comfortable and luxurious place to lay your head and let the worries of the world melt away into dreamland.

Shopping for your bed should also be a pleasant experience. We encourage you to shop around, and when it’s time to kick the proverbial tires – or stretch out across the literal luxury of our bedding lines, as the case may be – we encourage you to stop in and let your backbone do the talking.

We opened our first store in Northeast Cincinnati in the Fields-Ertel community in 2002, putting more than 50 years of experience behind our mattresses, pillows, box springs, futons and headboards. We have since expanded into the West Chester market, using our original recipe, like many have successfully used in the Cincinnati marketplace.
